# It Got Really Real and Fast!

So it has been some time (5 months – *ouch!*) since I have written a blog post and let me say, I’ve missed it. The reason for such a long pause is due to the fact that I have relocated from Berlin Germany to Silicon Valley USA and started a new job. That’s right, I am finally back states-side and the past few months have been a bit hectic, to say the least.

## New Job, New City, & I Hope More Writing

Along with relocating halfway around the globe to San Francisco, I’ve also started a new job as a *Front-end Software Engineer* for San Mateo CA-based, FixYa.com.

After a few months of working, I’m very excited to be a part of such a great team and really look forward to further contributing and working to keep the site moving forward. (Put your finger on the mouse, do a quick click on the link above, get over there, and check us out! – **NOW!**)

While I hope that posts will not be so few and far between, I am still a few weeks away from being fully settled and there’s still a lot to see out here on the left coast. To everyone that has been in touch and has yet to hear back, please hang in there or drop me a line. I plan to get back in the routine of writing about design, front-end development, and life in the Bay Area as soon as time permits. This post is just meant to be a quickie to share the news but expect some more design/development posts real soon.

It may seem as though I fell off the face of the earth, but stay tuned. It’s a very exciting time and a very exciting place to be if you’re a huge web geek. I can only imagine I won’t have a hard time coming up with creative ideas for writing.
